This one is for the LUSH fanatics, also known as, my fellow LUSHies out there! I wanted to share one of my favorite daily hair and body regimes I use with three of their delectable products, but first I wanted to share with those of you who aren’t familiar with LUSH Cosmetics why exactly we love them so much.
I must admit it was the intoxicatingly alluring scent of the shop that drew me in, but it was the big bold proclamation on their walls that won me over. “Fighting animal testing!” Sold. I’ve seen the way animals are treated for lab experiments in the name of cosmetics and even sports, and I simply cannot stomach the thought sometimes. With LUSH, not only am I getting a product that is made up of fresh fair-trade ingredients, I am also directly contributing to their efforts at bringing education and natural resources to third world countries all over as well as fighting for animal rights. This, my dear readers, is why I am so willing to splurge on these decadent bath treats. Now, back to business!
I have a few regular favorites that I like to cycle out every once in a while, but right now my favorite trio is the “Fair Trade Honey” shampoo, “Veganese” conditioner, and “Honey I washed The Kids” moisturizing hand and body soap. Ugh, literally an aromatic scent-gasm in the shower! Worthy enough of made up words even! The honey shampoo has a distinct floral bouquet that is accented with an equally distinct honey note. It’s smells so true and natural that it smells like a bouquet of fresh flowers that has been dipped or drizzled in honey! The lemon scented conditioner pairs really well with the honey shampoo and soap. In the end you come out with fresh locks that feel silky soft and not to mention you’ll be smelling like a honey dipped flower.
